SARPOL RP17 is an epoxy product with ceramic fill which is extremely smooth and provides a high-gloss finish, a low coefficient of friction ideal for protecting against abrasion and turbulence at typical dry operating temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 90 °C. Used on its own, SARPOL RP17 is recommending for sealing and protecting equipment from corrosion. It is also used as a layer to apply to SARO coatings for applications requiring the rebuilding of a surface and long-lasting protection. Typical applications involve the creation of a wear-resistant coating: repairing heat exchangers and condensers, alignment of tanks, chutes, repositioning and repair of drawbar housings, as well as the repair of cooling pumps and throttle valves.
