French energy technology company ENOGIA has signed a long-term agreement with Naphtachimie, part of the INEOS Group, to implement an industrial waste-heat recovery project at its Lavéra facility near Marseille. The project marks the first industrial application of ENOGIA's Green Shield Power Solutions offering. Using Organic Rankine Cycle technology, the installation will convert previously unused industrial process heat into electricity consumed directly at the facility. The agreement follows an Energy-as-a-Service model, allowing the industrial operator to benefit from energy recovery without financing the initial equipment investment. This approach could support wider adoption of industrial efficiency technologies across refining, petrochemicals and other energy-intensive sectors.
