🚀 Nighttime Spectacle: SpaceX Falcon 9 Set for Starlink Launch

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket is set to light up the night sky tonight at 1:14 a.m. from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40, carrying a new batch of Starlink satellites. With an 80% chance of clear skies, spectators can expect a stunning visual display.
This marks the 15th launch from the site this year, reinforcing SpaceX’s commitment to innovation and global connectivity. The mission will contribute to Starlink’s growing network, aiming to deliver high-speed internet to underserved regions worldwide.
SpaceX continues to lead the commercial space race with its reusable Falcon 9, recognized for its cost efficiency and reliability. While the launch won’t feature a sonic boom, the rocket’s powerful ascent will still leave onlookers in awe.
For the best viewing experience, spectators are advised to arrive early, find a clear view of the eastern horizon, and bring a tripod for capturing the rocket’s dazzling light trail.
🌿 Clemessy & NaTran Unveil 150 GWh Biomethane Injection Station in Fontaine-le-Dun, France

Clemessy has completed a new biomethane injection station at Fontaine-le-Dun, France, in collaboration with NaTran, Europe's second-largest gas transmission operator. This station connects TotalEnergies' BioNorrois production site to the French gas network, injecting renewable biomethane sourced from beet pulp, slurry, and agricultural waste.
The facility is expected to produce 150 GWh of biomethane annually—enough to cover the energy needs of 30,000 residents. This project supports France’s energy transition, reducing dependence on imported gas and promoting a circular economy while aligning with Eiffage Group's low-carbon objectives.

♻️ Waste Energy Corp. to Open Plastic-to-Fuel Facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Waste Energy Corp. has announced plans to open its first waste-to-energy facility in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, with operations expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025. The facility, spanning up to 26,000 square feet, will utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and pyrolysis technology to convert up to 30 tons of plastic waste into clean fuel daily.
The strategic location along Interstate 95 and the primary Eastern U.S. rail line was a key factor in choosing Fayetteville. "Our location is absolutely perfect for what we are trying to do," said CEO Scott Gallagher, emphasizing the site's accessibility to the Northeast Corridor from Florida to New York.
This initiative aligns with broader local efforts to harness renewable energy. Fayetteville Public Works Commission, in partnership with Bloom Energy, has already implemented solid oxide fuel cells to generate clean energy from biogas streams. The Waste Energy Corp facility is expected to further this mission by addressing the growing plastic waste crisis. Currently, only 5% of the 400 million tons of plastic waste generated globally is recycled, while over 86% ends up in landfills.
EEW SPC Secures Deal for Nordlicht Offshore Wind Project ⚡

EEW SPC has finalized an agreement with Vattenfall to supply 112 monopiles for the Nordlicht 1 and 2 offshore wind farms in the German North Sea.
The company was named a preferred supplier last October and will process approximately 141,000 tonnes of steel at its Rostock facility. The 980MW Nordlicht 1 project will use 68 monopiles, while Nordlicht 2 (630MW) will have 44. Each monopile will have a 10-meter diameter.
This marks EEW SPC’s fifth offshore wind project with Vattenfall, with Head of Project Management Sebastian Mönnich overseeing all previous collaborations.
Pending a final investment decision in 2025, offshore construction is scheduled to begin in 2026, with commissioning expected by 2028. The Nordlicht cluster is being developed by Vattenfall, with BASF owning a 49% stake, contributing to Germany’s renewable energy expansion.
Production at EEW SPC’s Rostock plant is planned from late 2025 to mid-2027, reinforcing the company's role in Europe's clean energy transition.
