Mobius Renewables completes Air Liquide biogas acquisition across US and France

Mobius Renewables has completed the acquisition of biogas production assets from Air Liquide across the United States, France, Norway, and Sweden, significantly expanding its renewable natural gas (RNG) footprint. The deal includes six landfill gas-to-RNG sites in the U.S., five farm-based biogas sites in France, and a 51% stake in Redo Biosolutions, which operates across Norway and Sweden. Following the acquisition, Mobius will integrate these assets with GreenGasUSA under a single brand, while Redo Biosolutions will continue operating independently. Founded in December 2025 by IFM Investors, Mobius Renewables is building a vertically integrated platform focused on developing, producing, and distributing RNG across North America and Europe. The combined portfolio now produces over 5.5 million MMBtu of RNG annually, sourced from landfill gas and anaerobic digestion. The acquisition marks a key milestone in establishing Mobius as a global player in low-carbon fuels, positioning the company for further expansion and investment in sustainable energy projects.
