Berlin-based AI startup Parloa in talks to raise $200M at $3B valuation

Berlin-based AI startup Parloa is in talks to raise $200 million, potentially valuing the company between $2–3 billion, more than double its May 2025 valuation. Previously, Parloa raised $120 million in Series C at a $1 billion valuation, co-led by General Catalyst. Founded in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald, Parloa provides intelligent automation for customer service, managing conversations across chat and voice channels. Its clients include Swiss Life and Decathlon, and it has offices in New York as it expands globally. The sector is growing rapidly due to rising demand for scalable, cost-effective customer support, but soaring engineering and computing costs raise concerns about a valuation bubble. Parloa competes with platforms like Salesforce, AI challengers such as Sierra, and other specialized automation software. Industry observers note that Parloa could become an acquisition target for major tech or enterprise software firms. The company’s next phase will test whether its rapid growth can translate into long-term market leadership as automation becomes standard for customer service.
