Aramco splashes $30 billion on 17 more deals with US players

Aramco has signed 17 new agreements and MoUs worth over $30 billion with major U.S. companies as part of its expanding strategic collaboration. These deals span LNG investments, advanced materials manufacturing, financial services, and large-scale procurement for Aramco’s onshore and offshore operations. Key U.S. partners include SLB, Baker Hughes, Halliburton, McDermott, KBR, Fluor, Flowserve, NOV, Worley, and others. The LNG-related agreements involve potential investments in the Lake Charles LNG and Commonwealth LNG projects in Louisiana. These deals build on 34 earlier MoUs announced in May 2025 worth around $90 billion, bringing the total collaboration potential with U.S. companies to about $120 billion. Aramco states the new agreements will support its long-term growth, expand its supply chain, and increase shareholder value. The company also recently notified Shelf Drilling to restart a jack-up rig operation in the Middle East starting September 2024.
