Houston Company CAMS to Operate South Texas Wind Farm

Houston-based Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) will manage the 202 MW Mesteño Wind Project in the Rio Grande Valley, owned by InfraRed Capital Partners, which purchased it from Duke Energy in 2024. CAMS will provide asset management, remote operations, maintenance, compliance, and IT services for the project. The wind farm, operational since 2019 and connected to ERCOT, features 590.5-foot turbines and generates enough energy to power about 60,000 homes. With Mesteño, CAMS now manages wind projects totaling over 2,500 MW. CAMS has been recognized on the Financial Times’ 300 fastest-growing companies list, with revenue growth of 70% from 2020–2023 and recently expanded into renewable-powered data center services.
