🚗 GM Unveils UK Design Studio with Futuristic Corvette Concept

General Motors has officially opened a new advanced design studio in Royal Leamington Spa, UK, unveiling a stunning Corvette concept car as part of a global design initiative. Led by renowned designer Julian Thomson, the 24,584 sq ft studio will focus on experimental design and innovation for the future of mobility. The UK team's Corvette concept merges heritage and futurism, showcasing clean, muscular forms, aviation-inspired design, and a unique "Apex Vision" central spine reminiscent of the 1963 Sting Ray. Built with additive manufacturing, the concept includes lightweight structures, EV battery integration, and powered wing doors—setting a bold vision for GM’s global design ambitions.
