🇩🇪 German Bank KfW IPEX Finances €35M for Langh Ship’s Eco-Friendly Vessels 💡

KfW IPEX-Bank is backing Finnish shipping company Langh Ship with €35 million in financing for two next-generation 1,200 TEU containerships. Designed with SDARI and powered by MAN’s efficient engines, the vessels will feature Langh Tech’s hybrid scrubbers, ballast water management system, and are prepped for a pioneering onboard carbon capture system. 💡 The captured CO₂ will be turned into sodium carbonate for use in other industries — a step toward a more circular, sustainable maritime sector. The vessels will be chartered by UK-based Borchard Lines. A great example of cross-border cooperation driving innovation in green shipping!
