🔌 Schneider Electric Launches Energy Innovation Hub in Houston

French multinational Schneider Electric has opened a new 10,500-square-foot Energy Innovation Center in Houston’s Energy Corridor. The facility, designed to simulate real-world industrial scenarios, aims to boost collaboration and technological advancements in sectors like refineries, power plants, and chemical processing. The center includes an interactive control room and AI-powered applications, offering training for engineers and plant operators while showcasing the future of industrial automation. It joins Schneider’s global network of innovation hubs in Paris, Singapore, and Bangalore. This opening is part of Schneider Electric’s broader $700 million investment plan in the U.S. through 2027, including expansions in El Paso and a clean energy partnership with Houston-based ENGIE North America. Schneider employs over 4,100 people in Texas, more than any other U.S. state, reinforcing Houston’s role as a leader in the global energy sector.
