British Solar Renewables Acquires 150-MWp Solar + Storage Project from INRG ☀️

British Solar Renewables has announced the acquisition of the Little Crow project, a 150-MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) park with a co-located 60 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), from UK-based developer INRG Solar. Located in North Lincolnshire, the project will have the capacity to generate clean electricity for up to 60,000 homes annually. This marks the largest project in British Solar Renewables’ portfolio and strengthens its position as an independent power producer, supporting its target to build and operate 700 MW of renewable energy capacity by 2027. The Little Crow project was designated a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and received planning consent in 2022. It was also among the successful projects in the sixth allocation round of the UK government’s Contract for Difference (CfD) scheme, which supports the development of low-carbon electricity generation.
