Kanadevia Inova to Operate Dublin Waste-to-Energy Plant Under 38-Year Contract 🔄

Kanadevia Inova, formerly Hitachi Zosen Inova, has announced plans to acquire Encyclis Ireland Operations Ltd., the company responsible for running the Dublin Waste-to-Energy facility. With this acquisition, the Swiss environmental technology firm will take over a 38-year operation and maintenance contract for the plant, currently held by Encyclis. The deal, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close in summer 2025. Encyclis will retain its 50% ownership stake in the facility, alongside DIF Capital Partners and MEAG, who jointly own the remaining half. The acquisition affects operations only and does not change the plant's ownership structure.
