Indaver to Invest £35M in UK Solvent Recycling Plant ♻️

Belgian waste management company Indaver has unveiled plans to build a state-of-the-art solvent recycling facility in Huddersfield, UK, marking a significant step in the circular economy and sustainable industrial practices. The new plant, which represents an investment of £35 million (approx. €42 million), will be located at a Syngenta UK manufacturing site and is designed to process 15,000 tonnes of Syngenta’s industrial waste annually. Indaver will build, own, and operate the facility, providing a long-term solution for solvent recycling, reducing environmental impact, and promoting resource recovery. This strategic project aims to support Syngenta’s sustainability goals while strengthening Indaver’s presence in the UK’s industrial waste management sector. The announcement was made by company representatives during a joint event, underlining the collaboration between Indaver, Indaver Solvents, and Syngenta UK in advancing innovative and environmentally responsible waste solutions.
