Baker Hughes and Frontier Infrastructure Partner on Large-Scale Carbon Storage and Power Projects 🌱⚡

Baker Hughes and Frontier Infrastructure have teamed up to advance large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) and power generation projects in the U.S., with a focus on supporting rising energy demand from data centers and industrial sectors. Key Project Details: 🔹 The partnership centers around Frontier’s Sweetwater Carbon Storage Hub (SCS Hub) in Wyoming, one of the largest open-access CO₂ sequestration sites in the U.S., spanning 100,000 acres. 🔹 The hub will store over 350 million metric tons of CO₂, with emissions transported via CO₂-by-rail strategy for industrial and ethanol emitters. 🔹 Frontier has begun drilling, with the first CO₂ injection planned by the end of 2025. 🔹 Baker Hughes will provide CO₂ compression, well design, monitoring, and industrial NovaLT™ gas turbines to power data centers and industrial customers.
