Andritz to Build 100-MW Green Hydrogen Plant in Germany 🇩🇪

Austrian engineering group Andritz AG has secured an order to construct a 100-MW green hydrogen facility in Rostock, Germany, for Rostock EnergyPort cooperation GmbH (REPCO). The plant, expected to be operational by 2027, will use HydrogenPro’s pressurized alkaline technology for electrolysis and will connect to Germany’s core hydrogen network. The project, part of the HyTechHafen Rostock initiative, has received €199 million in funding under the IPCEI Hy2Infra program and is projected to produce 6,500 tonnes of hydrogen annually. The facility will support local industries, mobility, and broader European hydrogen distribution.
