🔋 French HRS to Build Europe's Largest Hydrogen Refueling Station

French company Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS) has announced it will manufacture and install Europe's first very high-capacity hydrogen filling station. The facility, set to open in the first half of 2026, will feature six pumps capable of dispensing up to four tonnes of hydrogen daily—equivalent to 160 kg per hour—primarily for public transport in a major European city. Despite the scale of the project, HRS has not disclosed the customer or location. This development comes as part of the EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), which mandates the rollout of hydrogen refueling stations across Europe by 2030.
