Fluidstack to Build €10B AI Supercomputer in France 🇫🇷

AI cloud platform Fluidstack has signed a €10 billion agreement with the French government to build a 1GW AI supercomputer powered by decarbonized energy, reinforcing France’s leadership in AI infrastructure and digital sovereignty. Announced at the AI Action Summit in Paris, the deal was signed by President Emmanuel Macron and key government officials. The facility, expected to go live in 2026, will host 500,000 next-gen AI chips, leverage France’s nuclear energy, and create thousands of high-skilled jobs. With plans to expand beyond 1GW by 2028, this initiative positions France as a top AI hub alongside the US and China, advancing AGI research and AI-driven innovation.
