♻️ EnviTec Biogas Expands into LNG Infrastructure with LIQVIS Acquisition

EnviTec Biogas has acquired LIQVIS, a former Uniper subsidiary, integrating it into its operations as "LIQVIS powered by EnviTec Biogas." This move strengthens EnviTec’s position in the bio-LNG market, aligning with its commitment to climate-neutral heavy-duty transport. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🔹 LIQVIS Background – Founded in 2015, LIQVIS operates 18 LNG filling stations across Germany and France, strategically located at high-traffic transport hubs. 🔹 Expansion of Bio-LNG Supply – EnviTec Biogas plans to leverage LIQVIS’ infrastructure to exclusively distribute bio-LNG, produced at BioEnergie Park Güstrow and other company facilities. 🔹 Strategic Fit – According to Jörg Fischer, CFO of EnviTec Biogas, LIQVIS’ LNG sales capacity aligns well with EnviTec’s current biomethane production levels. 🔹 Strengthening the Value Chain – Olaf von Lehmden, CEO of EnviTec Biogas, emphasized that this acquisition marks a natural step in expanding their business to include LNG station operations.
