🚜 John Deere Unveils Electric & Autonomous Tractors

John Deere has introduced its latest advancements in electrification and automation at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The highlight of the showcase is the E-Power, a fully electric tractor prototype delivering 130 horsepower with a 100 kW battery. Designed for high-value crops like vegetables and grapes, the machine is also autonomy-ready, allowing for self-driving operations in orchards. Alongside the electric tractor, John Deere presented its latest autonomous models: 🔹 9RX Autonomous Tractor – Equipped with a second-generation autonomy kit featuring 360-degree cameras for fully autonomous operation. 🔹 5ML Orchard Tractor – Designed for specialized tasks like spraying, featuring Lidar sensors for precise navigation. John Deere has not yet announced when the E-Power will be available for purchase, but its innovations mark a significant step toward the future of sustainable and smart farming.
