Saudi Arabia and Germany Sign Deal to Export 200,000 Tons of Green Hydrogen Annually by 2030 🚀🌍

Saudi Arabia has signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany to export 200,000 tons of green hydrogen annually by 2030. The agreement was sealed between Saudi ACWA Power and Germany’s SEFE Energy Company, establishing a hydrogen bridge between the two nations. ACWA Power’s CEO, Marco Arcelli, highlighted the partnership as a key milestone in Europe's green energy transition. This deal comes as Germany continues securing new energy sources, having previously signed hydrogen import agreements with Brazil and Norway. Green hydrogen is seen as a crucial solution for reducing carbon emissions, particularly in industrial operations and heavy transport.
