Uniper Sells LNG Refueling Stations to EnviTec Biogas 🚛

Uniper SE has sold its LNG refueling station subsidiary, LIQVIS GmbH, to EnviTec Biogas AG as part of its ongoing divestment strategy. The deal includes 18 LNG stations in Germany and France, which EnviTec plans to use exclusively for bio-LNG sales. This sale aligns with Uniper’s commitment to meeting EU state aid conditions following its 2022 bailout. The company has also divested a gas-fired power plant in Hungary and plans further asset sales, including stakes in pipelines and energy businesses, by 2026. The move strengthens EnviTec’s position in the renewable fuel market while Uniper continues restructuring its portfolio. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
