TotalEnergies Signs 15-Year Renewable Power Deal with STMicroelectronics ⚡

French energy giant TotalEnergies has signed a 15-year agreement to supply STMicroelectronics with 1.5 terawatt hours (TWh) of renewable electricity for its operations in France. The power, sourced from newly commissioned wind and solar farms, began flowing this month. This deal supports STMicroelectronics’ goal of running entirely on renewable energy by 2027, aligning with similar agreements the company has made in Italy and Malaysia. For TotalEnergies, the contract strengthens its push to reach 100 TWh of net renewable electricity production by 2030. TotalEnergies has also inked similar renewable power supply agreements in France with Orange and Saint-Gobain, reinforcing its role in the country’s clean energy transition.
