🚀 Redwire to Acquire Edge Autonomy for $925 Million to Boost Space and Defense Technologies

Redwire Corp has announced its agreement to acquire Edge Autonomy in a $925 million deal, marking a significant step in integrating space technology with autonomous systems. The acquisition, which includes $150 million in cash and $775 million in Redwire common stock, will position the combined company to generate annual revenues between $535 million and $605 million by the end of 2025. The merger aims to create a comprehensive platform that combines Redwire’s expertise in space technology with Edge Autonomy’s advanced optics and autonomous systems. Redwire CEO Peter Cannito emphasized the strategic importance of this move, stating, "As space and airborne platforms converge into an integrated network of autonomous, collaborative systems, Redwire will be poised to provide end-to-end solutions for multi-domain operations from the surface of the earth to the surface of the moon and beyond."
