🔋 Houston's Zeta Energy Joins Stellantis to Develop Next-Gen EV Batteries

Houston-based Zeta Energy Corp. has partnered with automaker Stellantis to develop revolutionary lithium-sulfur batteries for electric vehicles, targeting deployment by 2030. The technology promises to deliver lighter, more compact, and cost-effective batteries with up to 50% faster charging speeds compared to today’s lithium-ion models. The batteries, produced using waste materials and methane for lower CO2 emissions, will integrate seamlessly into existing gigafactory setups in North America and Europe. This collaboration aligns with Stellantis’ goal of carbon neutrality by 2038, enhancing EV performance, range, and affordability while reinforcing supply chain resiliency. Zeta Energy, holder of over 60 patents, continues to lead innovation in EV technology, bolstered by its recent $4 million federal grant for sustainable energy advancements.
