Vestas Secures 60-Turbine Order for Nordseecluster Offshore Wind Project 🌬️⚡

Vestas has confirmed a firm order from RWE to supply 60 V236-15.0 wind turbines for the 900-MW Nordseecluster wind farm off Germany’s North Sea coast. This project, part of the larger 1.6 GW Nordseecluster, will be developed in two phases. Vestas will handle the supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, with a five-year servicing agreement. The first phase is scheduled for installation in 2028, with operations expected to begin in early 2029. This deal marks a significant step in expanding Germany’s offshore wind capacity.
