I have got my Bachelor Degree from Faculty of Commerce – Major Accounting on May 1996, after that I have started my career in the banking sector in which I have spent almost 12 years. I have worked in 3 Banks in the Corporate Finance field; Egyptian American Bank (AMEX Bank Affiliate) as a Credit Administration Officer, then Arab Bank as a Corporate Credit Relationship Assistant Manager & finally in Barclays Bank as a Corporate Credit Risk Manager. During this period, I gained a great experience in most of the banking operations & activities of different departments (i.e. Corporate Finance, Trade – Import & Export L/Cs, Remittance … etc.) in addition to the Financial & Economical analytical skills which I have gained after passing the Credit Certification Course. I have succeeded in finalizing several major corporate finance deals with different multinational & large corporate in which I have gained good managerial, negotiation & communication skills. After leaving the banking sector, I have started my career in the corporate field by joining Egyptian Cement Company in October 2007 as a Treasury Manager. The company was acquired by Lafarge Group 3 months later, so for 4 years I have handled the treasury duties for cement line of business only. Once Lafarge Group decided to change the organization structure during 2012 to be country based instead of regional based structure, I have appointed as a Country Head of Treasury & Insurance. Later on I moved to Orange Egypt on October 2017 as a Country Head of Treasury & Corporate Finance. After that, I joined El Sewedy Electric Group on November 2018 as a Group Treasury & Corporate Finance Director managing more than 60 entities in 30 countries. Finally, I’ve joined Gadwa for Industrial Development Group on August 2024 as a Chief Treasury & Corporate Finance Officer managing more than 40 entities in different line of businesses (Electrical products manufacturing, Electro mechanical EPC, Dairy products, Packing, Agribusiness, Civil contracting & Real-estate development)
