🌟 Aramco, Carbon Clean, and Samsung E&A Unite to Revolutionize Carbon Capture for Gas Turbines 🌍♻️

Integrated energy and chemicals company Aramco has teamed up with Carbon Clean and Samsung E&A to demonstrate the potential of Carbon Clean’s CycloneCC technology for capturing CO2 from natural gas turbine exhaust streams.
The CycloneCC technology, designed to target exhaust streams with low CO2 concentrations (around 4%), boasts a 50% smaller footprint and up to 50% cost savings compared to conventional systems. Its modular design leverages rotating packed beds (RPBs) and the proprietary APBS-CDRMax solvent to ensure high efficiency in space-limited industrial environments.
The project will install the CycloneCC unit on a sales gas compressor turbine, with Samsung E&A managing engineering and construction. This marks a major milestone in scaling and commercializing the technology, providing real-world performance data.
Carbon Clean, which has captured nearly 2 million tons of CO2 globally, sees vast potential in the U.S. Gulf Coast region, where its compact solution is suited for 73% of industrial emitters.
This collaboration follows Carbon Clean’s recent partnerships with PETRONAS and ADNOC, further solidifying its position as a leader in the carbon capture space.
