Stellantis has announced a recall of 20,755 hybrid crossover SUVs in the U.S. due to a potential brake pedal malfunction. The affected models include certain 2024-2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale plug-in hybrids and 2024 Dodge Hornet PHEVs, both built on the same platform. The concern is that the brake pedal may inadvertently disengage while applied. The company is aware of 15 global incidents, including one accident, but no injuries have been reported. Stellantis is committed to resolving this safety issue promptly.
