Axpo Launches France's Largest Rooftop Solar Plant ☀️🇫🇷

Axpo has officially launched the largest rooftop solar plant in France, located in Beauvais, approximately 80 kilometers north of Paris. Operated by Axpo’s subsidiary Urbasolar, this impressive installation spans 62,000 square meters and boasts an installed capacity of 12.8 MWp. It is expected to produce around 13 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power about 3,000 households in France.
This project not only emphasizes Axpo's commitment to renewable energy but also showcases its expertise in solar solutions, as the company has constructed over 700 large-scale solar plants across various technologies. With significant operations in multiple European countries, including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Poland, Axpo aims to further contribute to the energy transition and enhance energy security throughout Europe.
Antoine Millioud, Head of Axpo’s Solar Division, highlighted the company’s extensive experience in different solar technologies, positioning Axpo as a leader in the sector and reinforcing its dedication to expanding solar energy initiatives across the continent.
