German Investors Target Vietnam for Strategic Hydrogen Industry Expansion 📈🌏
German energy firm Neuman&Esser and Vietnam's Institute for Digital Economy Development Strategy (IDS) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance the hydrogen sector in Vietnam. The agreement aims to explore research, policies, and investment mechanisms for hydrogen production and technology transfer.
This partnership aligns with Vietnam’s National Power Development Plan, which targets a comprehensive hydrogen ecosystem by 2030 to boost energy security and achieve net zero emissions by 2025. Neuman&Esser plans to establish a representative office and invest in production facilities in southern Vietnam, leveraging the region’s renewable energy resources. The company also intends to collaborate with major Vietnamese energy firms, including Petrovietnam, Vietnam Electricity, and Vietnam National Chemical Group.
Founded in 1830, Neuman&Esser is a leading player in hydrogen technology, positioning itself as a key partner in Vietnam’s energy transition.
