110M€ grants for strategic technology investment in Puglia Region

The Puglia Region has launched a major grant scheme worth nearly €472 million to support both SMEs and large enterprises investing in critical and emerging technologies, in line with the European STEP strategy and the Regional Smart Specialization Strategy. Eligible activities include: - Productive investments in strategic technology sectors - Industrial research and experimental development - Advanced training and specialist consultancy Priority sectors: - Digital technologies & deep tech - Biotechnology & pharmaceuticals - Zero-emission green solutions - Artificial intelligence, robotics & mechatronics - Aerospace & automotive The initiative aims to strengthen regional value chains, reduce strategic dependencies from third countries, and foster the ecological and digital transition, creating qualified employment and boosting long-term competitiveness. Min. eligible investment: - €3,000,000 for large enterprises - €1,000,000 for SMEs, tech startups and innovative companies
