Aerospace parts maker Arxis raises $1.13 billion in US IPO

Aerospace parts manufacturer Arxis raised about $1.13 billion in a U.S. IPO after pricing its shares at $28, the top of its expected range. The Bloomfield, Connecticut-based company sold 40.5 million shares in an upsized offering, reflecting strong investor demand. Arxis produces electronic and mechanical components such as seals, gaskets, and metallized fabrics used in aerospace, defense, medical technology, and industrial sectors. The company has grown rapidly under Arcline’s ownership, completing over 30 acquisitions since 2019, including the $1.8 billion purchase of Kaman in 2024. The IPO comes amid strong interest in aerospace and defense companies, driven by rising demand from commercial aviation and increased military spending due to global geopolitical tensions. Arxis shares are set to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker “ARXS,” with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Jefferies acting as lead underwriters.
