Ocean Infinity takes delivery of final survey vessel in its new high-tech Armada fleet

Ocean Infinity has taken delivery of the 14th and final vessel in its next-generation Armada fleet, completing a program launched in 2020. The fleet includes 86-meter and 78-meter vessels designed for geophysical and geotechnical surveys using advanced underwater robotics. The ships are smaller, low-emission, and lean-crewed, with operations monitored and partially controlled from an onshore control center. This approach reduces offshore personnel, lowers fuel consumption, and improves efficiency. With 12 vessels already in operation worldwide across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific, the Armada fleet is now actively delivering complex subsea projects. Ocean Infinity says the completed fleet marks a shift toward technology- and software-driven offshore operations, turning a five-year vision into a fully operational reality.
