🏥 US Boosts Rural Healthcare: Adena Health Breaks Ground on New Medical Center in Georgia

Adena Health has officially started construction on the Adena Fayette Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Washington Court House, Georgia, set to open in 2027. The new 65,000 ft² facility aims to boost rural healthcare access and support local economic growth. It will offer specialized care in orthopaedics, oncology, pulmonology, and OB/GYN, alongside robotic-assisted surgeries, advanced diagnostics (including cardiac CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine), and an on-site pharmacy. Adena leadership emphasized the hospital’s role in delivering modern, innovative care to underserved communities while maintaining continuous patient services during the build.
