🖥️ Alat and Lenovo Break Ground on $2B High-Tech Factory in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, February 9, 2025 – Alat and Lenovo have officially broken ground on a new high-tech manufacturing facility in Riyadh, marking a $2 billion investment. The factory, spanning 200,000 sqm in the Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ), will produce millions of "Saudi Made" laptops, desktops, and servers. This strategic collaboration is set to create 15,000 direct jobs and 45,000 indirect jobs, contributing up to $10 billion to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP by 2030. Lenovo will also establish its Middle East & Africa headquarters in Riyadh, further strengthening its regional presence. With a focus on supply chain resilience, innovation, and sustainability, this move aligns with Vision 2030, boosting industrial growth and economic diversification in Saudi Arabia.
