🏡🔋 How electricity will become cheaper in the future 🌞💡

Local Energy Cooperative Aims for 100% Renewable Energy by 2030 In a groundbreaking move, seven communities and four climate and energy model regions have formed an energy cooperative to revolutionize local energy consumption. This initiative aims to connect local electricity producers with consumers, significantly reducing dependency on foreign energy sources. Key Goals: Self-Sufficiency: By generating and consuming local renewable energy, the cooperative aims to enhance regional energy independence. Cost Control: Setting their own energy prices will help communities save on costs and achieve better conditions amid fluctuating global prices. Energy Efficiency: The region has a potential to save 25% on energy consumption, which the cooperative plans to harness. 100% Renewable by 2030: Photovoltaic systems will be installed to ensure the WEIZplus region (41 municipalities) is powered entirely by renewable energy by 2030. Information events will begin in spring 2025 to engage private individuals, companies, and farmers in this sustainable energy revolution. 🌿⚡ By Julia Kammerer
