MK Rail & Disc Brakes

Hilliard MK Guide Rail Brakes are designed for use on elevators, cranes, conveyors or other devises requiring a spring applied, electromagnetically released brake. This is direct acting braking system designed for holding duty and emergency stopping for guide rail or brake disc applications. The patented MK brake incorporates an electromagnetic coil that uses a voltage dropping circuit to minimize current draw and heat when brake is released. MK Rail and Disc Brakes are direct acting with only one moving part. Can be configured for various rail or disc thickness. Easy to install, manual release bolts included. Equipped with microswitch for monitoring brake status.
