Vulcan Refractories Ltd was established in 1969 in Cheadle, Stoke on Trent in the UK and manufactures a comprehensive range of high performance refractory shapes and infra-red heaters.

Our refractory product range includes silicon carbide, alumina, aluminosilicate, zircon, zirconia and high temperature insulating bubble alumina. Industries supported by Vulcan products include ferrous and non-ferrous metals, energy from waste, technical and industrial ceramics, nuclear, kilns, wear resistance and power generation, to name a few. We manufacture ceramic infra-red, quartz infra-red and foil heaters in both standard and bespoke designs so that we can meet your exact needs whatever your application

All products are manufactured at a state-of-the-art facility in the UK, with 75% of the production being exported worldwide. In 2012 we became part of the Zampell family, investment in 2013 transformed Vulcan into a bespoke refractory manufacturing company which is continuing to investment and develop new products for a sustainable future.
